Radical Support President John Carter honored as one of Atlanta’s Top 25 Entrepreneurs

Atlanta, GA 11/13/2008 - CDI Managed Services (http://www.radicalsupport.com), one of Atlanta’s first fixed fee computer support companies, today announced that its CEO, John Carter was ranked number 17 in the list of Top 25 Entrepreneurs in Atlanta, compiled and published by Catalyst Magazine.
Catalyst Magazine’s (http://www.Catalystmag.com ) annual ‘Top 25 Entrepreneurs & Ones to Watch’ awards were finalized after receiving more than 100 nominations of business owners in metro Atlanta. Nominees were evaluated by Catalyst Magazine’s accounting partner, Gifford Hillegass & Ingwersen, LLP (GH&I), on four criteria: entrepreneurship, growth, sustainability and profitability. The 2008 Top Entrepreneurs & Ones to Watch award winners represent Atlanta’s fast growth companies in a diverse mix of industries.
In 2001, CDI Managed Services was formed to address what Carter saw as a ‘value gap’ inherent to the traditional hourly billing approach for computer support. Carter’s “radical” approach took on the Atlanta computer support industry status quo, with a fixed-fee, unlimited support model. CDI Managed Services shifts the burden of performance onto themselves as the service provider and away from the customer. CDI Managed Services employs 24 full time people and in 2007 was named the 29th most progressive Managed Service Provider by MSPmentor.com while also being honored as a leader in the global managed service provider industry.
“It’s an honor to be recognized as one of Atlanta’s top entrepreneurs,” said Carter. “This award is a testament to our team’s commitment to providing unmatched customer service. We continually strive to find new ways to improve our offerings to create more value for our clients. As a collective organization, we feel that we have been able to ‘Raise the Standard in Technology Support’ in the Atlanta marketplace”.
